ABBEVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA – May 13, 2020 – The Pro Towels brand has donated 500 face masks to their local essential workers on the front line to help combat the spread of the coronavirus.

The face masks were given to local workers in Abbeville City and County serving on the frontlines of the pandemic, like Police Officers, EMS, Fire Fighters, and City Council Members. Pro Towels main decorating facility has operated and been an integral member of the Abbeville County for more than 30 years. The company decorates promotional beach and sports towels, apparel, accessories, and blankets, but with social distancing replacing sports and events of all kind currently, Pro Towels began looking for other ways to support its community and its customers, like face protection.

Mayor of the City of Abbeville, Santana Delano Freeman, states, “On behalf of the Staff and City Council of Abbeville, SC, I would like to thank Pro Towels for the mask donation. This kind act shows their commitment to our community and interest in the health and welfare of our first responders and other essential staff. It is excellent to know that we have an organization like theirs that can adapt quickly and provide quality goods.”

Kevin Nord, President of Pro Towels, adds “We appreciate all the first responders and their hard work and efforts during these challenging times. We are more than happy to provide these masks for our hometown heroes.”
